My hubby had a potluck in his office and he works for an American company, so he told me that he wants some Indian dish,which is a demand from his office.I wanted to make a dish where there is a touch and aroma of Indian spices with loads of veggies which attracts all health consious people. As I had to make the dish befor my hubby goes to the office,so i decided to make Vegetable Pulav which is easy.

Differance between Pulav/briyani/fried rice

Briyani-The name biryani or biriani is derived from the Persian word bery?(n) which means “fried” or “roasted”.This dish originated from the family of Middle Eastern,South Asian dishes made from a mixture of spices,rice(usually basmati), meat/vegetables and yogurt.Biryani is made by the draining method of cooking rice.In biryani the main ingredient is at the base of the vessel.Biryani uses lots of aromatic masalas. Before sleeping, my husband said he wanted to eat Yummy Yummy “Chole” for his lunch. I was very happy as my husband rarely demand for food. I thought to make the best for him (i always try). So I soaked the chole.

My both mother & in law, have good hand in cooking, so I usually take help from them. This recipe came out too well and not only my husband but all his friends also like the chole’s which i make. Thanks to my both the mum’s!!!!

I use very less of spices and oil in all my dishes, and trust me its healthy as well as tasty!

The devastation by Kosi river in Bihar (one of the eastern states of India) has left many dead and many more homeless. Every one is trying to contribute in this situation, goverment & NGOs are running relief camps and trying to reach out to people stuck in the flood. Organizations are donating big amount, old clothes, food & medicines. At this, juncture Google is contributing through its one of the applications, google map.  If you open www.google.co.in (india specif google home page), you will find a link to “India and Nepal floods: maps & resources” which shows the map of affected area and resources available in that area.

This is an excellent use of IT and bring out the importance of IT in a case of a disaster. As we know in India, every year there is a major disastor and that leads to a suggestion to indian goverment that India should invest heavily in IT and lead the world in IT, not only in exporting IT services but using it IT knowledge and resources to strenghten security (as we know so many times indian  goverment websites have been hacked), disaster mangement, information exchange and virtually everywhere.  Read more... We talk of making India a superpower but just make few people rich are we becoming a super power. Whole country is burning, but will be super power. No one is safe but we will be super power J

People:  I can’t see respect for each other within same cast, language, region, state or religion then why I hope to see respect of for each individual irrespective of his/her religion, caste, language, state, health, color. There is utter disrespect for law and with our politicians leading with example.
